Infrared uses point-to-point invisible light-beam pulses just like your TV or DVR.
BlueTooth uses limited short-range radio waves to connect locally. Requires a second Crystal case controller and power supply to receive BlueTooth signals and convert them into infrared light-beam pulses to send to the salt lamp controller. It’s deprecated (obsolete) now that WiFi is working, but still available by special order if you don’t have network access at your salt lamp location or an iPhone with a personal Hot Spot. Uses the Tatco IR Toolkit App.
WiFi uses Internet connectivity to connect to your salt lamp from anywhere. Requires a second Crystal case controller and power supply to receive WiFi signals and convert them into infrared light-beam pulses to send to the salt lamp controller. The WiFi program must be generated for your network router or HotSpot SSID and password, and contain an auth code used for cloud server message routing. Uses the Blynk IOT (Internet of Things) App.
