The “Crystal” case controller —

Two microprocessor boards generate 8 luminary pre-programmed color sequence programs on a digital LED light array inside the salt lamp. There are also two audio responsive display modes (volume or frequency selective) using an outboard  digital sound-pickup card.

The ancient Himalayan salt lamp has grown up and gone digital, but still generate its negative ion emission benefits; see the “Useful Stuff” web page. Also runs as a generic salt lamp with no color program modes active. Each of the salt lamp 3-color RGB LEDs are capable of  displaying 256x256x256 (16,777,216) colors. The original owner is eligible for free microprocessor code upgrades for the life of the product.

The “Works” —

The package includes a salt lamp with LED light array installed, 6-foot lamp connection cable, remote control, and the Crystal  case controller with a digital sound pickup card. Two AC transformers that supply safe 5-Volt and 9-Volt low-voltage DC power to the Crystal case and salt lamp(s) are UL and/or CE listed. Add your own AC power strip. Daisy-chain two salt lamps to make multiple party lights. Each salt lamp draws 2 Amps maximum @ 5 Volts.

BlueTooth —

Want to be able to control your salt lamp from your iPhone? Our BlueTooth transceiver takes commands entered from your cellphone via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) radio waves, translates them into infrared light signals, and re-broadcasts them to your salt lamp. Usage requires an iPhone App to program the remote control keys into your cellphone.

WiFi —

Need more range than BlueTooth? Our WiFi transceiver takes commands entered on your cellphone received from your Network router or HotSpot, translates them into infrared light signals, and re-broadcasts them to your salt lamp. Usage requires an iPhone App to program the remote control keys into your cellphone.
